Earn Gold by playing any game mode: spin, battle, loot, or survive the dungeon.
Spend Gold to buy armor, companions and weapons. Or try your luck with some random packs.
Gold balances are synced across @Doubloon Destiny and @Plunder-Bot.

PirateApes bridges Web3 with in-game mechanics through Doubloon [$DBL], the official PirateApes community token.

🔥 More than 15% of the total $DBL supply is already burned, and we’re just getting started. Every time a player buys Gold using $DBL, exactly 100% of that $DBL is sent to the burn address, gone forever.

⚖️ As the community grows and more players buy Gold to gear up, trade, or plunder, more $DBL is permanently removed from circulation... driving scarcity and long-term value. This creates a true token sink, aligns utility with scarcity, and powers a deflationary in-game economy. The more players engage, the stronger $DBL becomes.
We adjust in-game rewards and prices based on the $DBL token’s market cap to keep the game economy balanced and fair over time.
When the token is lower priced (low market cap), players receive more gold rewards for their efforts, making early participation more rewarding.
As the token’s market cap increases and the price rises, gold rewards and shop/pack prices decrease proportionally, since the value of gold is rising as well. (1 Gold = 1 $DBL)
It protects players from inflation and keeps the game fair and fun, whether ye joined early or just boarded the ship.
We’re still early! Just around $6K market cap at the moment. Once we double and hit $12K, the in-game economy gets rebalanced:
💰 Gold rewards from monsters and dungeon rooms will drop by 50%
🛡️ Shop prices for all companions, weapons, armor, and any packs will also drop by 50%
This system ensures that shop items, like the Ice Blaster in the following example, remain affordable in terms of $ no matter how high the $DBL token price climbs.
